Kinect out in the US on 4th November
ROW "thereafter". More than 15 launch titles.
Microsoft has announced that Kinect for Xbox 360 will launch on 4th November "starting in North America". According to the press release that accompanied the news, "Kinect will roll out to the rest of the world thereafter."
The platform holder told the audience at its E3 conference that Kinect, which uses a camera, sensors and a microphone to detect input in a variety of ways, would be flanked by "more than 15" launch titles.
Among those will be the six games we got hands-on with yesterday - Kinecticals (adopt 40 animals, 30 unique activities), Kinect Sports (Rare's sports compilation - football, bowling, javelin, long jump, table tennis, hurdles, etc.), Kinect Joy Ride (kart racing), Kinect Adventures (rafting, other mini-games), Your Shape: Fitness Evolved (Ubisoft's go at Wii Fit) and Dance Central (Harmonix's wicked rhythm game).
Microsoft didn't say how much Kinect would cost or how it would be bundled.
