Hideo Kojima has admitted that he has a "strong interest" in working on Xbox 360. Interestingly, he also says he'd like to work on the PC.

"I do have strong interest in creating something for the Xbox 360. In the US and Europe, it is selling, and I think it will sell a lot this year as well. I'm a fan of Gears of War as well, it's very interesting," he told GamePro.

Reports have linked Kojima with an Xbox 360 project in the past, but Konami has never said anything concrete - with representatives reluctant to definitively rule anything out because, well, they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. Let's face it, you can't predict what the man will do.

"Frankly speaking, I want to create something on the PC," he continued." It's a multi-platform [format]. I've been regularly studying work on the PC anyways, and I want to provide something as a worldwide platform because of the consequences with timing on the PlayStation platforms, MGS4 is actually for the PS3 only so far."

Which could mean anything, really. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is due out exclusively on PlayStation 3 later this year. Hopefully.
