The Silk Stocking Murder
Eli may be safely behind bars and the DA is happy, but this is LA and the murders aren't going to stop any time soon.
Location: Crime Scene
Clues:
- Examine the body; look at both arms to notice the Removed Ring and find half a Library Card, examine the torso for another message scrawled in lipstick, and look at her head to find the Lacerations on the Neck.
- Examine evidence marker A to find a Bloodied Stocking.
- Examine evidence marker C to locate a Blood Trail.
Follow the blood trail to find more Clues:
- A hat marked Antonia.
- A shoe in the trashcan.
- House keys attached to a red pipe.
- There's a Dot Hole Pattern card on the ground ahead.
- Climb up to the roof and inspect the Empty Envelope in the pigeon coop.
- Keep following the trail to find a Gold Case.
- Climb up the pipe and look at the ring hanging from the vent.
- Keep following the trail to find a Paint Brush and a Purse. Look inside the Purse to find the other half of the Library Card.
Location: Antonia's Residence
Speak to the landlady, and then head to room 5 upstairs.
Clues:
- Broken Window.
- Photo in the dresser.
- Letter in the suitcase.
Interview Barbara Lapenti:
- Possible Suspects: True.
- Movements of Victim: Bad Cop (or Doubt in the original version).
- Evidence of Break-In: Accuse (or Lie in the original version). Evidence: Broken Window.
- Breakdown of Marriage: Accuse (or Lie in the original version). Evidence: Charm Bracelet Photograph.
Location: El Dorado Bar
Read the letter the barman gives you.
Interview Diego Agular:
- Missing Jewellery: Bad Cop (or Doubt in the original version).
- Movements of Victim: Good Cop (or Truth in the original version).
Leave through the rear entrance to bump into someone making a delivery.
Location: Maldonado Residence
Examine the doorbells to the right to find Maldonado's apart number, 304, and head upstairs. After a quick punchup, search the kitchen for Clues:
Clues:
- A Just Picked Fruit Market delivery crate near the doorway.
- A matchbook from the El Dorado on the worktop.
- A Bloodied Shirt hanging on the wall.
- Talk to the neighbour in room 302 to get the Husband's Alibi, then use the telephone in Maldonado's apartment.
Location: Central Police Station
Meet the Captain in the basement and examine the two letters. Strange things are afoot...
Interrogation of Angel Maldonado:
- Last Contact with Victim: Accuse (or Lie in the original version). Evidence: Husband's alibi.
- Jewellery Taken from Body: Good Cop (or Truth in the original version).
- Divorce Proceedings: Accuse (or Lie in the original version). Evidence: Divorce Papers.
- Bloodstained Shirt Found: Bad Cop (or Doubt in the original version).
Location: Just Picked Fruit Market
Interview Clem Feeney:
- Distinctive Necklace: Bad Cop (or Doubt in the original version).
- Contact with Victim: Bad Cop (or Doubt in the original version).
- Movements of Victim: Good Cop (or Truth in the original version).
Investigate the back room to search for Clues:
- A Bloody Scalpel on the desk near the door.
- The box in the cabinet drawer requires a combination which you'll find on the Dot Pattern Card you found earlier: 2, 5, 3. The box contains Antonia's Charm Bracelet.
