Ubisoft has created a sprawling and dense virtual city in Watch Dogs - sometimes perhaps too bloated with things to be distracted by - but in recent weeks the debate around the game has ignored the game's content to instead focus on the matter of its looks.

There's something about Watch Dogs' recent graphics debate that goes beyond skin deep. Games evolve between conception, unveiling and release - and after a five-year development it should be no surprise that things have changed. UPDATE 22/04/2014: Well, this is disappointing. Apparently that BloodRayne countdown teaser is just for BloodRyane Betrayal, WayForward's bite-'em-up from 2011. It looks like it's only now coming to Japan on 1st May. That's great for Japan (it is a pretty good game), but not as exciting as expected.
