Two Worlds II! Fight Night! Pokemon!
This week sees (should see... maybe) the release of fantasy role-playing game Two Worlds II. Even as we type this, we're still not 100 per cent sure it'll see the light of day in the UK this week. We know it's supposed to launch as an Amazon.co.uk exclusive on Tuesday, but given the many insufferable delays seen so far, the truth may be different. Until then, let's just give TopWare the benefit of the doubt, shall we?

Anarchy in the UK.
Sat in the railway-arched underbelly of a London club, we're watching a post-game demonstration of kick-boxing proficiency. One of the athletes has just mistimed his vertical leap out of the ring and hit the side-decking - specifically, he's landed directly on a point somewhere between his eye-socket and his cheekbone. Not everyone in the audience caught this moment, but those who did have assumed a collective wince.

Review | Hunted: The Demon's Forge
Devils may cry.
Co-op fantasy monster-masher Hunted: The Demon's Forge lands this summer, yet I bet your knowledge of it is still fuzzy and disorganised. Maybe you've read our preview with inExile founder Brian Fargo talking about how the game is "bringing the classic dungeon crawl back". Perhaps you've heard the community chatter that dubs the game "Gears of Warcraft". Maybe you've looked at a picture of it and thought: breasts! And who could blame you? If I were Brian Fargo, I'd have called the game Bones 'n Breasts, in a classy nod to 1988 classic Ghouls 'n Ghosts.

Review | Brink
A closer look at the sprinting man's shooter.
"Alright!" cries supernaturally chipper Splash Damage CEO Paul Wedgwood towards the assembled journalists. We've unlocked everything and bumped you up to level six, so you'll be able to select all of the content."

Feature | Eurogamer Readers vs. MotorStorm Apocalypse
Eight men enter. Only four survive.
Two consoles running MotorStorm Apocalypse. Two massive televisions. A lot of high quality junk food. And eight men. But only four places available at Sony's epic Apocalypse event in London next month. We're at a secret, highly coveted Brighton location (OK, the gig room upstairs at our mate's pub) to decide which of eight Eurogamer readers - scientifically chosen according to their gaming prowess/ability to fill in a web form - will be put forward to represent us against readers from other websites and magazines in bloody vehicular combat. Etc.

Suguri! Bejeweled! Ricochet! Future! Zap!
If you added up all the downloadable games across Steam, XBLA, PSN, Minis, WiiWare, DSiWare and even the foolishly overlooked Xbox Indie Games Channel, how many games have been released to date? 4000? More?

Review | Killzone 3
Nice guys finish Helghast.
As the saturation point looms, the first-person shooter pie has been sliced increasingly thin in recent years. The difference between some games is only a few crumbs wide and players have become connoisseurs almost by default, able to discern the subtle shift in flavours between games that, to the untrained eye, are practically identical. We've become fussy gourmands, favouring a Call of Duty or a Medal of Honor based on tiny changes to the recipe.

Digital Foundry | Face-Off: Bulletstorm
Lead better?
Unreal Engine 3 has become almost ubiquitous in the current-generation console era, but it's comparatively rare that we get to see the tech being wielded by the studio that actually developed it. It's hard to believe that the last time Epic shipped a console title was Xbox 360 exclusive Gears of War II, way back in November 2008.

Stuck? Check out our chapter by chapter gameplay capture.
The death of Visari at the end of Killzone 2 has left the Helghast legions in a state of internal confusion, but in this third game in Guerrilla's first-person shooter series, the one thing they all seem to agree on is that they should direct their efforts to wipe out the pesky ISA troopers still loitering on their rock. I.e. you.
