Resident Evil 4 will launch in Europe on 18th March 2005, and will be distributed by Nintendo of Europe - which reflects just how significant the platform holder considers Capcom's latest survival-horror effort to be to the Cube's hopes for 2005.

Vivendi's Hulk sequel a bit Grand Theft Also?
Smashing-sounding Radical Games effort features free-roaming environments and lots of destructible scenery to use as weapons.
Radical Games is working on a new Hulk game for PS2, Xbox and GameCube, publisher Vivendi-Universal Games revealed today, and unlike the last example this one will be a free-roaming, 'sandbox' affair where the Hulk can destroy more or less anything and use whatever's lying around as a makeshift weapon. Or, as Vivendi eloquently puts it: "jump anywhere, climb anything and smash everything".

Rockstar's console, PSP plans for 2005
New dates for The Warriors and Midnight Club 3, and talk of new games from the Grand Theft Auto publisher.
Although the PC and Xbox ports of GTA: San Andreas are bound to attract the most interest, Rockstar has also revealed that it has at least one new console title based on a "proven brand" in development, as well as two PSP titles based on existing products - all of which it plans to launch in 2005.

GTA: San Andreas Xbox and PC release dates
PS2 hating gamers will have to wait until June.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is due out on PC and Xbox in June 2005, Rockstar Games revealed this week as part of mother-publisher Take-Two's latest financial statement. Both versions will ship on June 10th in Europe, having appeared in the US three days earlier on the 7th.

Praise be to squaylor and Talha, both of whom chipped in over the weekend, and while we're at it praise be to recovering lost email archives from Zip Disks we don't even remember using. It's thanks to that small miracle that some of the works of Robo_1 and Kami have been resurrected and beaten into shape here today. Having failed to get them up back in the day, it seems only fair to indulge Kami in one of his priceless rants about a really bad old game, in this case Superman 64.
