The LAN Arena 3 party is taking place in Paris this weekend, with as many as 400 players expected to take part during the three day event.

Not satisfied with getting their butts whipped by the British, the French organisers of the huge LAN Arena 3 party in Paris this weekend have also invited Sweden's finest, Clan 9.

Quake 3 Arena is now officially gold, according to Activision. The game should be on shelves in the USA for December 12th, but we're still waiting to hear an official European release date from Activision UK. Our best guess at the moment is December 17th for the UK...

Every major PC gaming magazine in the UK is busy trying to get online, but Games Domain are heading the opposite way, putting out a print magazine called Games Domain Offline.

Videologic are currently redefining the face of multimedia. We already know of their PowerVR technology, which has met with mixed results, but many of you maybe unaware of their relatively new series of speaker systems.

John Carmack of id Software updated his .plan with some information about the Quake 3 source code, the inevitable slew of patches that will follow the game's release, and what he has planned next. Amongst his future projects is making "cyberspace" a reality apparently...
