Amnesia: The Dark Descent is perhaps the most genuinely creeply horror game of recent years. "It's a brave experiment in the genre... and stops at nothing to make you truly, deeply uncomfortable. Its brand of disturbing and darkly atmospheric first-person adventuring is back next Tuesday in Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs - for which the original developer Frictional Games recruited The Chinese Room, the UK outfit that made last year's mysterious art game Dear Esther. Will their styles match? Most importantly, will the game be as skin-crawling?
