We sat down to check out ATLUS' latest RPG from the creators of Persona 3, 4, and 5 - Metaphor: ReFantazio! Our new JRPG expert, Venus Duffy, sat down with Liv Kennedy and Maddie Cullen to usher them into The United Kingdom of Euchronia, where a fierce political race for the throne is taking place. We explore the beautiful port city of Brilehaven before tackling one of the game's main dungeons - a luxury ship requiring both some stealthy puzzle solving and a strategic use of the battle mechanics in order to defeat the gauntlet of foes inside. Naturally, we then crash a political soirée, surf a magical sword across the night sky, and face off against a terrifying monster, all while bonding with our companions and building new friendships along the way. There may even be a surprise addition to our party towards the end... Metaphor: ReFantazio is available now and has a demo that allows you to carry progress over into the main game!
