It looks like Xbox Live's defunct episodic game show 1 vs 100 might have a spiritual successor on the way, in the form of Full House Poker.

Kotaku reports a beta invite has been sent out for the game by Microsoft Game Studios, which will reportedly see live Texas Heat sessions hosted on your Xbox dashboard.

It doesn't appear that there will be any real cash up for grabs in the scheduled live games, just XP Points and more chips for your bankroll.

As with 1 vs 100, it seems you'll be playing with your Avatar. "With Full House Poker, you'll be able to bring your personality to the table with unique tells and Avatar accessories," reads the beta invitation, "and you'll even be able to save your progression and winnings as you track your rise to the top of the leaderboards."

The 1 vs 100 game show was axed earlier this year after its second season. At the time, Microsoft Game Studios' general manager Dave McCarthy said, "We're very proud of the 1 vs. 100 team and their accomplishments, and are excited to apply what we've learned to future programming."
