Duck-loving Sony Worldwide Studios boss Phil Harrison has mentioned a LocoRoco sequel again during his appearance at the DICE Summit.

The even-better news is that it sounds like it's taking actual shape. "I was recently playing LocoRoco's next version," he noted in an answer about what he'd been up to recently.

Back in December Harrison said Sony was "going to bring LocoRoco back in a couple of new ways with some new friends in the future".

There's no word on whether it will be a direct PSP sequel, or whether Sony plans to upgrade our bouncy little friends to full-blown PS3 status, but with previously PSP-exclusive games like GripShift and Tekken: Dark Resurrection doing strong business on the PS3 Store, our money's on a downloadable version.

We're being literal by the way, Phil. We will give you money for a downloadable version. We just steal it out of petty cash anyway.
