London MCM Expo this weekend!
Check out Games Village for upcoming titles.
This weekend fans of anime, manga, games and all sorts will descend on London's ExCeL Arena to take in the annual London MCM Expo - and Eurogamer is an official partner of the Games Village area!
That doesn't mean that we will be sat in a splendid arrangement of cottages staring out from behind the curtains and grumbling about Mrs. Smith next door with her new Astra and you should see the way she talks to her gardener if only her husband knew - but it does mean that if you chip along you can see and play some splendid upcoming games.
For example, Sierra will be there with The Bourne Conspiracy, and KOEI, Konami, 2K and Atari will all be hosting promotions in the Games Village area, which should give you a glimpse of Alone in the Dark, Legendary: The Box, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit, Warriors Orochi 2 and more.
It's not all games, either. If you're into manga or comics, you'll want to check out some of the talks, Q&As and presentations, and Manga Alley, and there's also Anime Village, where you can speak to the people who bring anime to the UK. Plenty of stuff to buy, too - including hard-to-find comics, action figures, posters and all sorts. We have a feeling that the Cosplay & Masquerade element will be pretty eye-catching and all.
So, if you're interested in going, check out the London Expo website for more information. Tickets on the door are priced GBP 9 for adults, GBP 4 for children between 11 and 14 years-old, and there's a Fast Track option for people who want to get in up to an hour early, which costs GBP 12 a head. Normal opening hours are 11am to 6pm on Saturday, 24th May, and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, 25th May.
