"Manufacturing issue" holds boxed PC Dark Souls 2 back in UK
Only by a week to 2nd May.
A "manufacturing issue with packaging" means the boxed PC release of Dark Souls 2 in the UK will be delayed a week to 2nd May.
"This is only affecting the UK on the boxed release of the game," the publisher told Eurogamer. "It will be delayed unfortunately and we apologise to UK customers. This is due to a manufacturing issue with packaging. To confirm, this will only affect the UK boxed launch."
The Steam and digital release of the game will go ahead as planned on 25th April.
"Dark Souls 2 is in a class far beyond most other RPGs," wrote Tom Bramwell in our console review of the game. "It's full of startling and confounding moments, enigmatic systems and items that will only make sense over multiple playthroughs, and it is certainly a game you can hope to play and talk about for a long time to come."
But will it look as good on PC as the early game footage that was released? That's the real question here.
