Marvelous executives to take pay cuts
CEO's salary down by 77 per cent.
The bigwigs at Japanese studio Marvelous Entertainment are set to have their salaries slashed, as reported by Siliconera.
Executive staff will take a pay cut of between 15 and 17 per cent while directors will lose 25 to 43 per cent. But it's the CEO who will suffer the most, with his salary down by 77 per cent. Bad luck, big bossman - from foie gras to Fray Bentos.
The news follows an announcement earlier this week that Marvelous was selling its 50 per cent stake in Rising Star Games. The company is best known for producing titles such as Harvest Moon and No More Heroes.
