Microsoft to launch new Xbox Live dashboard beta

Microsoft has announced a new public beta test for several upcoming dashboard features.

Those selected to join will be able to access work-in-progress dashboard changes, Microsoft spokesman Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb has announced, as well as the upcoming Internet Explorer for Xbox app.

The beta will test personalised content recommendations tailored to specific users, plus "enhanced search and discovery features".

Sign-up is, as usual, available through the Microsoft Connect testing site.

Those who sign up won't be able to talk about their findings, however. You'll be required to sign an NDA for confidentiality reasons.
