Microsoft's free Xbox One Games with Gold promotion starts today
Two free games, plus 50% off Crimson Dragon.
Microsoft's Games with Gold promotion launches on Xbox One today, the company has announced, meaning you can now download this month's two titles for free.
As previously revealed, June's two titles are top-down shooter Halo: Spartan Assault and side-scrolling platformer Max: The Curse of Brotherhood.
Both games are available immediately and are now listed as free on the Xbox Games Marketplace if you are a Gold subscriber.
It's unknown if both titles will arrive together every month, rather than on the staggered free Xbox 360 games on the 1st and 16th.
Today also brings with it Xbox One's June dashboard update - the one that includes external storage support and automatic sign-in without Kinect. You'll also need it to properly download the two titles above. Additionally, entertainment apps such as Netflix, 4OD and Amazon Instant no longer require a Gold subscription to watch.
Finally, Microsoft has also launched its Deals with Gold promotion for Xbox One - June's offer is Crimson Dragon for half price. There will be a hub for Xbox Live Gold members on the dashboard to show which games are free and reduced each month.
