Monster Hunter World's snowy Iceborne expansion gets a lengthy gameplay trailer
And it's got a September release date too.
Ahead of tonight's planned Monster Hunter World Spring Update livestream, Capcom has offered a sizeable new gameplay trailer showcasing the game's previously announced Iceborne expansion, which now has a release date of 6th September.
I could probably just write the word NARGACUGA in massive letters and be done with it, but there's a whole lot more on show in Iceborne's beefy new trailer, which aired as part of Sony's State of Play livestream. Alongside a glimpse of the snowy wastes that form Monster Hunter World's new biome in Iceborne, the trailer offers a look at some of the new and returning beasts that fearless hunters will be up against, come 6th September.
Following the trailer reveal, Capcom confirmed that Iceborne's newly unveiled September release date applies to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, Monster Hunter World players on PC will unfortunately need to wait a little longer for the expansion; at present, it's scheduled to reach the platform some time "this winter".
Capcom will be offering a closer look at Monster Hunter World's Iceborne expansion in its Spring Update livestream presentation, scheduled to air at midnight, 10th May.
