Reports suggest that Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia will be released for Xbox 360 and PC on 3rd April, 2007. In America, anyway.

Southpeak Interactive previously announced a February launch date when they signed as publisher for the game last summer.

Monster Madness, developed by Artificial Entertainment, is a top-down shooter in which four teenagers battle against a monster invasion in a peaceful suburban town. Using a classic comic-book style and tongue-in-cheek approach, it bears more than a passing resemblance to LucasArts classic, Zombies Ate My Neighbours.

Tussle with more than 50 different enemies and 12 wacky boss monsters, using upgradeable weapons, Molotov cocktails, vehicles, or special abilities.

Four-player co-op will be supported, as well 16 player punch-ups online.

We've been flying a flag for this game ever since its announcement alongside the Xbox 360 back at E3 2005. Well, I have. Sometimes they try to burn my flag, you know. They're horrible to me. In any case, you can head over to Eurogamer TV to see Madness in action, or swagger into the gallery for some snaps of the mayhem.
