An OFLC listing has just popped up for something called Rayman 3D.

The notice, spotted by Nintendo Everything, doesn't reveal any further information about the title or what platform it's for.

However, it could refer to a handheld version of Rayman: Origins – the 2D platformer announced during Ubisoft's press conference at E3 this year. Although originally only confirmed for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, the game's official site states, "Wii, PC, iPad, 3DS to be considered."

Due for release next year, it'll be the first original Rayman side-scroller since Rayman: Hoodlum's Revenge launched on the Game Boy Advance in 2005.

We've asked Ubisoft for comment and will update when it responds.
