Nintendo's Geist delayed
Expect to take possession sometime in 2005.
n-Space's inventive GameCube first-person shooter Geist has been delayed again, according to the latest issue of official magazine Nintendo Power in the States. The game will now be released in 2005.
One of Nintendo's relatively unsung first party projects, Geist made its first appearance at E3 two years ago, and also appeared at the trade show this year, although it slipped past most people in the face of strong competition on the same stand from the likes of Metroid Prime 2, and of course the Nintendo DS.
For those with little or no exposure to it, the idea is that your spirit has been ripped from your body as a result of shadowy experimentation, and in order to recover your physical form you're expected to wander around possessing humans, animals and objects and exploring, puzzling and fighting.
Details of the delay are scant, but whatever the reasoning, it'll probably be some time now before you get to play Geist.
