HBO backs UMD

HBO has opened its ample doors and welcomed Sony's Universal Media Disc (UMD) format into the fold, with several series' on their way.
The US will gain Da Ali G Show: Da Compleet Second Seazon and Da Ali G Show: Da Compleet First Seazon on September 13th for $29.95, followed by Entourage: The Complete First Season, Todd McFarlane's Spawn 1, Chris Rock: Bigger & Blacker and Chris Rock: Never Scared towards the end of 2005.
Expect the UK to follow suit later this year, if not early 2006. In the absence of a UMD player, by then we might just have some PSPs to watch them on. Maybe. [You'd watch these, would you? - Ed]
