EA plans six PSP launch titles, including FIFA
Need For Speed, Tiger Woods, NBA Street, NFL Street, FIFA and MVP Baseball all due in March in the US of Wotsamajig.
EA's previously announced PlayStation Portable games - Need for Speed Underground Rivals, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, NBA Street: Showdown, NFL Street 2: Unleashed - will be available alongside the handheld for its US launch this March, and will be joined by FIFA Football and MVP Baseball.
The latter two games haven't been previously announced in an official capacity, but EA head honcho Larry Probst did mention that they were on the way in an address to investors last year - although presumably due to the lack of interest in baseball over here, only FIFA will be released in the UK.
EA UK's release doesn't clarify whether they'll be European launch titles or not, but according to Sony boss Ken Kutaragi the firm is aiming to launch the system over here in March as well, so we'd imagine that at least some of them will be.
All six games will benefit from non-standard game modes, wireless multiplayer modes, content unique to the PSP, "party play" and, for those who still need to learn where the volume control is, "EA Pocket TRAX". EA's 150-strong Team Fusion, split between EA Canada and EA Tiburon, is handling development.
