Connery signs up for Bond game
Don't worry, we do mean Sean and not Jason.
Sean Connery has agreed to put on his tux, toupee and exploding cufflinks one more time to appear in EA's From Russia With Love, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Conners will record dialogue for the game and his likeness will also appear in it - though it'll be the 1963 likeness and not the 2005 one, regardless of which Mums maintain is the sexier.
"As an artist, I see this as another way to explore the creative process," said the man himself.
"Videogames are an extremely popular form of entertainment today, and I am looking forward to seeing how it all fits together."
Other likenesses featured in the game will include Q (Desmond Llewelyn), Donald 'Red' Grant (Robert Shaw) and Miss Moneypenny (Lois Maxwell).
"The combination of Sean Connery, the Bond universe and From Russia With Love is about the best mix you can have in a Bond game without a new feature film," said videogame analyst (that's a real job?) John Taylor.
"Connery set the standard for James Bond and is most people's favourite Bond. This game should have both a retro and contemporary appeal to a large audience," added Taylor, earning every penny of that videogame analyst's wage.
From Russia With Love will arrive on PS2, Xbox and GameCube this autumn. It follows EA's last Bond adventure, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, which was nothing whatsoever to do with the original N64 GoldenEye, right down to the fact that it was rubbish.
