Some new details for Buka's Wind Warriors expansion for the futuristic flight combat title Echelon have blustered our way. The pack, due this October - arriving almost two years after the original game - contains a wealth of additions, chiefly the brand new single player campaign spanning some 40 missions.

We can expect a whole host of new weaponry and units, and an apparently much-improved command interface allowing players to call in both air and ground support. Multiplayer will also get an overhaul with new gameplay modes, arenas, better chat functionality and dedicated server support, something that was sorely lacking from the original title.
