Artificial Studios has announced completion of the Alpha phase for PC and Xbox 360 title Monster Madness.

So to celebrate, they've released a brand new video of the game on the Monster Madness website. And if you're a publisher you can email them for a copy of the Alpha demo, since they're still looking to get signed.

Monster Madness is a co-operative online action game for four players. It follows the adventures of a group of teenagers who organise a party while their parents are out of town. Wouldn't you know it, a bunch of homicidal monsters turn up at their party and wreak havoc, murdering the guests, eating their remains and probably drawing moustaches on the oil paintings like in that Yellow Pages advert.

The storyline unfolds as you journey through five different environments with names like Suburban Nightmare, High School Hell and, our favourite, The Shopping Maul. You can expect a healthy dose of 3D top-down shooting and a big fat arsenal of customisable weapons, plus lots of vehicles to drive.

Monster Madness is out some time next year, most probably.
