New CoD: Finest Hour screens, 12 movies, trailer
With voice acting from Dennis Haysbert (24!) and Brian Johnson (AC/DC!) confirmed this week, too.
Activision has announced the voice, scripting and musical talent behind its forthcoming console World War II FPS title Call of Duty: Finest Hour, and also released a slew of new screenshots and gameplay movies, including a QuickTime trailer.
Dennis Haysbert, better known to most as the President of the USA in TV series '24', and Brian Johnson, lead singer of AC/DC no less, both have voice roles in Finest Hour, while writer/producer Michael Schiffer will inject some of his screenwriting talent and Michael Giacchino will score the game as he did on the PC.
You can download an archive of the 12 gameplay movies we've gotten hold of from Eurofiles here (30MB), while the polished QT trailer can be had here (17MB) and the screenshots, taken from a US mission set in Aachen called "First City To Fall", are all lined up ready for inspection here.
Developed by Spark, Finest Hour aims to emulate the success of the PC version of Call of Duty, which won critical acclaim and did very well commercially - having been developed by the bulk of the team who worked on Medal of Honor: Allied Assault for Electronic Arts.
It's due out on PS2, Xbox and Cube this autumn in the US, and it should be on store shelves in the UK this November 26th.
