Crashday races into 2006
Just smashing.
Atari will be gracing us with its new PC bound racing title, Crashday, next February.
Developed by Moon Byte and Replay Studios, Crashday aims to mix the likes of Burnout, Stuntman, Destruction Derby, Flatout, TrackMania, Tony Hawk's (!) and Carmageddon, into one glorious whole, which hopefully wont turn out like Frankenstein's monster in the process. In slightly more palatable terms, the game features seven modes that range from regular racing and stunt driving, to wrecking and capture the flag. Are you ready for the inevitable list of features now? Heeeeere we go…
There will be 12 vehicles that can be tuned and personalised, an integrated track editor, weapons such as missiles and mines, damage modelling, action replays and multiplayer modes. If that isn’t enough, there'll also be mini-games, like vehicle long jump and checkpoint chasing, all on top of online features to let you share your created track pieces and cars. Could be fun. But…
…Tony Hawk?
