Postal re-release coming up
Guess who's back. Back again.
Not content with forcing us to think about Postal 2 every so often, Whiptail Interactive is now re-releasing the original Postal of 1997 as Postal - Classic and Uncut on August 11th. "Step aside Kubric [sic]," said Running With Scissors CEO Vince Desi, "Once it had been banned, it took them 21 years to re-release the ultraviolent cult film 'A Clockwork Orange'. We've done the same thing with POSTAL in less than six." Yes but Vince, A Clockwork Orange was actually worth re-releasing because it was good. Postal, however, isn't. Wasn't. Whatever.
As well as the original game, the pack will include the Special Delivery expansion which tacks on a multiplayer mode and extra maps, a one level demo of Postal 2 and a Postal 2 bumper sticker. It's this kind of blatant notoriety cash-in the industry needs, and we applaud Whiptail's decisions without the slightest trace of sarcasm.
