Square Enix has one game in development for Nintendo DS, the dual screen console set to be unveiled in Los Angeles later today, and will be demonstrating a playable version of the game at E3 when the event opens this Wednesday.

The announcement comes courtesy of Square Enix president Yoichi Wada, who mentioned the game at the company's pre-E3 conference. Sadly he would not elaborate on title, details or release date (though speculation is bound to point to a launch title), only confirming that it would be playable on the show floor.

Nintendo's pre-E3 press conference, believed to be the launching point for the DS console (as well as various Cube titles including Wind Waker 2, Metroid Prime 2 and perhaps even Mario 128), kicks off in Los Angeles in a few hours at 11am local time.
