Gran Turismo dev's new game
It's got m0t0rbik3s! Lots of them!
Famitsu magazine has unveiled the first details of Tourist Trophy: The Real Riding Simulator, the new PS2 biking sim from Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital.
But GT director Kazunori Yamauchi isn't in charge this time - Takamasa Shichisawa is heading up the project instead. Yamauchi is still involved, though, in the role of producer.
Apparently most of Tourist Trophy's bikes date back to the nineties, but for serious retro fans there will be an eighties collection too. You'll find a list of bikes announced so far at the bottom of the page - but we reckon you can expect many more to be added in the future.
Only two tracks have been revealed as yet - Tsukuba and Fuji Raceway. As in GT you'll control brake and throttle by pressing the controller's face buttons, but the changes you make will be shown on the screen.
Expect more details of Tourist Trophy once the game's been unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show.
