Continuing the industry's current fetish for all things World War II, iEntertainment has signed a deal with Activision Value Publishing and The History Channel to develop WWII: The Battle of Britain in a veritable licensing ménage a trois.

The focus of title is apparently high realism, with over 270 miles of English Channel topography mapped from satellite data, 40 historically accurate planes, and flight models set to "perfectly match" the flying characteristics of WWII aircraft. 30 missions will chart all the major air battles of the period, beginning with Operation Dynamo on May 27th, 1940 and leading right up to defending England against Operation Sea Lion - Hitler's plan to invade the country. Players will also be able to do battle over iEnt's massively multiplayer service which supports hundreds of players.
