RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 trailer
What do you get when you cross Chris Sawyer with Frontier? RollerCoasters that look absolutely elite!
We didn't much care for RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. It felt like a cash-in. We like Chris Sawyer, we really do, and we felt he let us down a bit there. We probably weren't the only ones. Looking at this trailer for RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, however, we felt our little hearts throbbing faster and faster in excitement.
Imagine what RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 should look like in this day and age, and then have a look at what Frontier Development has quietly cooked up. Quite frankly, any game that has realistic-looking rollercoasters that you can actually ride - and that actually feel like rollercoasters when you press your face up against the screen (albeit without the G-forces) - and also has break-dancing pandas... is clearly going to be worth keeping an eye on.
It's all we can do to stop ourselves stumbling into delirious admiration [you may have failed already -Ed]. Perhaps the trailer isn't quite that good, but after the disappointment of RCT2, this is a bit like being lured to Legoland Windsor by the promise of hi-octane thrills, and then being given free tickets to Alton Towers by way of an apology.
We want to go round again.
