Need For Speed Underground 2 DS details
EA's chart-topping racer should be available for the DS from mid-March in the States - and features four-player wireless racing.
EA has revealed certain details about the Nintendo DS version of Need For Speed Underground 2, which is due for release in the USA on 21st March. At the time of writing, its big brother on PC and consoles currently rides high at the top of the UK charts despite proving divisive amongst critics.
Developed by EA Canada, NFSU2 for the DS will make use of the DS's touch-screen in a variety of ways. As part of the game's customisation options - which will be vast, we're guessing - you'll be able to use the stylus to design your own custom paintjobs. In-game, you'll be able to control the amount of nitrous boost you use to some degree on the touch-screen.
On top of that, we now know that NFSU2 DS will support four-player wireless racing. That's actually more impressive than technically superior PSP title NFSU Rivals, which will only support two-player head-to-head when it emerges later this year.
