But it's only available for viewing until May 8, for some reason, so get those eyes feasting sharpish.

Square-Enix has released a new trailer for Grandia III, the forthcoming PS2 RPG from developer Game Arts. You can view it using Windows Media Player here.

Grandia III follows the adventures of Yuuki, a teenage boy who meets a young shaman named Alfina. She uses her power to communicate with holy animals as she searches for her brother, Emilious, who has been missing for three years.

Emilious eventually turns up, but as luck would have it he's gone a bit mental and decided to make himself grand high overlord of absolutely everything and everyone - and it's up to Yuuki and Alfina to stop him.

The game is being worked on by You Yoshinari and Takahiro Hasebe, who were character designer and scriptwriter respectively for the first game. Noriyuki Iwadare is also back to provide the musical score.

Grandia III is due to launch in Japan this summer, but there's no word as to when - or if, frankly - it'll make it to Europe. But those keeping their fingers crossed might like to visit the game's official website, or look at these lovely screenshots in the meantime.
