Korean free-to-play MMO specialist Nexon has closed its Vancouver-based Humanature studio, with the loss of 90 jobs, according to Kotaku and Gamasutra.

Humanature was Nexon's Canadian development base, and the studio was led by Alex Garden, previously of Company of Heroes developer Relic Entertainment. It hadn't yet released any of its own games.

Nexon's existing hits like MapleStory and Combat Arms are unaffected; Nexon still has a studio in Los Angeles, which works on the localisation of these games.
