Next week's Gamescom Inside Xbox promises new looks at Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Gears 5
Plus Blair Witch, Empire of Sin, more.
Microsoft will, as it confirmed last month, be attending Gamescom once more this year, ready to give its latest Xbox wares a bit of a public wafting. As part of its presence at the show, it'll be hosting another live episode of Inside Xbox, and we've now been given a clearer idea of what will be revealed during the celebratory livestream.
Next week's special edition of Inside Xbox (which comes live from Cologne's Gloria Theatre) is scheduled to begin at 4pm BST/8am PT on Monday, 19th August.
According to its latest trailer, those with their eyes upon the show will see the multiplayer reveal of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the "gameplay debut" of John Romero's mafia strategy effort Empire of Sin, a look at Destiny 2's upcoming Shadowkeep expansion, a taste of Gears 5's Horde Mode in action, and "over a dozen more games". The latter include Bloober's new Blair Witch game, Vigor, Bleeding Edge, Battletoads, and more.
Should you be interested in tuning in, you've plenty of options; it'll be streamed via Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Mixer, and the official Xbox website.
And for those attending Gamesom in person, Microsoft previously revealed that its Xbox Booth will feature a variety of playable debuts - including the first public hands-on of Minecraft Dungeons and Gears of War 5's Horde Mode - with Project xCloud also putting in an appearance. Over in the PC corner, meanwhile, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be in attendance, as will Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition.
Microsoft's Xbox Booth can be found in Hall 8 of the Koelnmesse.
