Nintendo teases a Wii U system update that will cut system loading times

Footage shows the improvements in action.

Nintendo has teased an upcoming Wii U system update that will drastically cut system loading times.

The firmware refresh is due in April, the first of two this year that will improve the Wii U's performance.

The second update will arrive sometime this autumn, Nintendo has said previously.

New footage released by Nintendo shows just how much faster the Wii U will perform after next month's update. (Or, alternatively, just how slow the Wii U performs right now).
