November 3DS firmware update details
10 mins vid recording, YouTube uploads.
Nintendo's planned November 3DS firmware update will allow gamers to record up to 10 minutes of 3D video footage.
Videos can then be uploaded to YouTube, Japanese newspaper Nikkei reports (via Andrisang), although the paper was unclear on whether this was possible directly or merely through SD card transfer.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata is expected to fully detail the update in a pre-recorded webcast to be broadcast later today. The talk will also see Iwata reveal the upcoming Mario Kart 7's online functions.
Next month's 3DS firmware update is likely to launch in Europe on 4th November.
Improvements to the 3DS eShop and the introduction of a new StreetPass game are also said to be on the way.
