Outside Xbox returns to Rapture
Plus: AC Unity wishlist and baffling achievements.
Welcome, Eurogamers, to your weekly dispatch from the fallen utopia of Outside Xbox. Who knew building it in the centre of an active volcano would be such a bad idea?
Not that we'd have fared much better underwater, as evidenced by the objectivist haven of BioShock's Rapture, as revisited in second part of the BioShock Infinite Burial at Sea DLC. Show of the Week examines this downloadable epilogue and some lesser known facts about its developer Irrational. Did you know they made a Bollywood game? Sort of? Neither did we.
Paris, now there's a city where you're unlikely to get impaled by a man with a drill for an arm. You might get air-assassinated though, if the trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity is anything to go by. Set in Paris (and possibly elsewhere) during the French Revolution, this Assassin's Creed sets out its stall with a new historical backdrop and a new protagonist. That's a good start, but here's the rest of our next-gen Assassin's Creed wishlist. Don't let us down, Ubisoft.
Finally this week, we embrace the ridiculous with a rummage through the most baffling achievements in Xbox 360 games. Though achievements are more usually awarded for feats of genuine video gaming prowess, these seven are awarded for utterly random nonsense, such as killing enemies with toilets and even less seemly things.
For all this, plus a look at nine Street Fighter characters we'd prefer to the recently announced Decapre, check out outsidexbox.com, or subscribe to our YouTube channel so you never miss a video. See you next week!
