(Over)Watch BlizzCon 2019's opening ceremony here
Diablo 4! Overwatch 2! Protests! Probably.
BlizzCon 2019 kicks off tonight with Blizzard's annual Opening Ceremony extravaganza. You can watch it online via Twitch and YouTube from 6pm UK time (11am Pacific).
Other panels will then follow across this BlizzCon weekend, though most usually require a BlizzCon virtual ticket (£34.99) to watch.
It is tonight's Opening Ceremony where all the big reveals usually occur, however - and where, this year, all eyes are on Blizzard to say something after facing perhaps the toughest few months in its history.
We're expecting big announces such as Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 for Blizzard to shout about, as well as new expansions for World of Warcraft and Hearthstone.
Diablo 4, whose development we've known about for a while, is an important announcement which will put to bed the spectre of last year's hellish Diablo mobile reveal backlash.
Overwatch 2, meanwhile, has been spotted in numerous recent leaks and is said to feature an expanded PVE offering.
Will Blizzard also discuss the recent China controversy? Will audience members behave themselves? Tune in to find out.
