Codemasters has unleashed a three-pronged Overlord downloadable content attack on Xbox Live.

Its chief minion is a fancy fresh single-player expansion ominously dubbed Raising Hell. This has you leading your army into the Abyss and setting about conquering Lucifer's kingdom, as you do. Raising Hell will cost 800 Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60).

Slightly cheaper at 400 Points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.80) is the Challenge Pack that will test your thumbs with a Legendary difficulty setting and seven new multiplayer maps.

The last prong is a free update that lets you play split-screen in multiplayer. Oh and you get a Rocky Race map.

Those of you after these hellish delights on PC grab the combined premium content from Metaboli now for GBP 4.99 (quite some saving, tut tut). The free update is there, too.

Overlord is strategic role-playing game where you trample through do-good settlements with your army of minions while building your tower and improving your military muscle.

We gave it 8/10, which is number-code for "good", and you can find out why in our Overlord review.

You can find some screenshots of Raising Hell in our Raising Hell gallery, which is rather obvious.
