Overlord stampedes onto PS3
This summer with all expansions inside.
Codemasters has said it will be offering Overlord on PS3 this summer.
Inside will be the new Raising Hell single-player expansion as well as all of the additional content to date.
The PS3 version is said to be "enhanced with detailed visuals" and have 7.1 surround sound support, on top of some gameplay fiddles like a fancy on-screen mini-map.
Overlord was released last summer on 360 and PC to a warm critical reception. The idea is you, as Overlord, control an ever-growing army of minions - each with unique powers.
You use them to go on stampedes through villages and generally cause chaos, taking down enemies and tackling puzzles by organising your rank and file to expose their strengths.
There's more than a touch of Dungeon Keeper to it, which we liked, and it took home 8/10.
The Raising Hell expansion was released on 15th February and offers up Lucifer's Kingdom for conquest. It costs 800 Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60).
Alongside it was a Challenge Pack with a new difficulty level and maps for 400 Points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.80), as well as a free update that allows for split-screen multiplayer.
Overlord PS3 offers you a little more for your money, then.
