Bizarre Creations has unveiled upcoming downloadable content for Project Gotham Racing 4, set to launch on 14th February.

There are two packs - one free, one for 400 Microsoft Points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.80) - and, as well as new cars and game modes, there are 10 new Achievements good for 250 gamerpoints.

The free pack, first, gives you the hydrogen-powered 2007 Peugeot Flux, winner of the 2007 Peugeot International Design Competition (the competition that actually revealed the game in the first place, if you remember).

It also introduces two new game modes - Tourist Mode, "which lets you tool around any city in the game checking out sights with your friends", and Free Roam Cat and Mouse, "where a slow mouse vehicle must avoid enemy cats". The ten Achievements are available in the free pack.

Meanwhile, the Premium Challenge Pack adds seven new cars - the 2008 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Concept, 2007 Volkswagen Golf GTI W12-650, 1987 BMW M3 E30 DTM, 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia, 2008 Honda S2000 CR, the 2008 Callaway C16 Speedster and the freebie 2007 Peugeot Flux.

Plus there are three new bikes - the 2007 Yamaha YZF-R1, the 1995 Aprilia RS 250 and the 1998 Aprilia RSV 1000 Tuono R.

Check out how some of them look in the four DLC screenshots we've added to our Project Gotham Racing 4 screenshot gallery.

Finally, there's a new World Challenge Arcade Mode, which features 20 events in three chapters, including five events that are Platinum-only.

Er, and finally finally, there's the option to drive around whilst viewing the race from trackside cameras, which sounds impossible, but is apparently something for which people asked.

For more details on all of that, head over to Bizarre Creations' website post.
