Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball delayed
Extra content being added.
Gamecock has announced that forthcoming XBLA title Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball won't be out till later this spring.
In a press release, the company said the delay was "due to pirated copies being on the loose".
Christopher Stockman, director of developer Blazing Lizard, commented, "We see the irony in all this. Rest assured, we have a crack team of Ninjas on the case and hunting down all pirates. On the positive side it gives us a chance to go back and add-in additonal content to the game."
In fact, the press release goes on to state, "The game has not been pirated but we wanted an excuse to announce the wait for the game and the new game mode."
So along with the dodgeball events already in the game, which will see players performing Peg-Leg Stomps and Shuriken Attacks amongst other special moves, there will be more traditional modes. Multiple dodgeballs may be in play and teams will be made to stick to their side.
