Namco Bandai's Enslaved: Odyssey to the West will be playable at this year's Eurogamer Expo a week before it goes on sale.

It joins a host of other high-profile games that will be playable at the Expo, which runs from 1st to 3rd October at London's Earls Court.

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 action adventure Enslaved is in development at Cambridge studio Ninja Theory. Eurogamer went hands-on last month.

Like fellow Ninja Theory game Heavenly Sword, Enslaved aims to weave a high quality narrative in a cinematic fashion.

The story's been co-written by Alex Garland (The Beach, 28 Days Later), and the "dramatic co-director" is none other than Lord of the Rings' Andy Serkis.

Enslaved is due out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 8th October.

Shameless plug alert: Tickets are available from the Eurogamer Expo site. Be there or be square.
