Solaceon Town Pokémon, trainers and items
Solaceon Town is a small, largely un-noteworthy town in Sinnoh that punctuates your journey north from Route 209 onto the bottom of Route 210 - however, there are a couple of things worth pointing out about it.
The most significant is the Pokémon Nursery, which is where you can leave Pokémon to gain experience as you take steps around the world and, more importantly, breed with a second Pokémon if the two are compatible for breeding (i.e.: a part of the same egg group).
There's also the Pokémon News Press, where a person inside will ask to see a specific Pokémon each day, rewarding you with a different type of Poké Ball in return each time.
Otherwise that's mostly it - you can continue on north from here or, if you like, explore the optional, and rather mysterious Solaceon Ruins, just to the east! Inside it has some very rare items and the unique Pokémon, Unown. On your way there you'll find a few berries too.

Solaceon Ruins - how to get all Unown plus trainers and items
Solaceon Ruins is the location where you'll find Unown in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, along with a handful of other very rare items in its deepest chamber. There's also a small boy early on who'll offer you a special Ball Capsule if you go back to his house outside after chatting with him here.
Here's how Solaceon Ruins works: each level has a central corridor - which we've labelled as Hallway B1F, Hallway B2F, etc. - and off to the side of each of those are a couple of other small chambers and the stairs to the next hallway.
In some of the small side chambers you'll find a hidden item in their central rock, while most are empty. These side chambers are also where most of the Unown forms will spawn - if you didn't know, Unown can appear in up to 27 forms: one for each letter of the alphabet from A to Z, plus one for "?" and one for "!".
In the hallways you'll find just one specific Unown form spawns in each. In order, they are F, R, I, E, N, D (D actually spawning in the deepest chamber that isn't a hallway).
Basically, you want to work your way through each hallway catching the exclusive Unown form in each, until you reach the deepest chamber where you can catch the D form and find four rare items waiting for you, plus a nice message on the wall about friendship.
An escription on the back wall on the entrance level gives you the directions, helpfully. Follow these and you'll go through every chamber and the one trainer here, allowing you to collect everything possible in one go. The directions are:
- Top right
- Lower left
- Top right
- Top left
- Top left
- Lower left
The easiest way to exit from there is to just use an Escape Rope - there's one you can collect along the way! Otherwise, simply follow the above instructions in reverse order!
Finally, there's the question of where to get the ? and ! form Unown. These are unlocked via a special chamber which you can only access via the Ruin Maniac's Cave on Route 214, which you'll come to later on in your journey. His cave expands as you gradually catch more Unown - talk to him when you've caught all the different forms from A-Z, and his tunnel will have expanded into the special chamber where you can catch the final ! and ? forms.
