Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon - Heahea City, Route 4, Pikachu Valley
A walkthrough for the second island of your Alolan Island Challenge.
Heahea City, Route 4 and Pikachu Valley are the next key areas on your journey. You'll only have access to about half of Heahea City for now, but it's still worth exploring for some handy items before you set off towards Paniola Town via Route 4.
Here on this page we'll explain all you need to know about the story and main events as they unfold here, and as with all pages of our walkthrough we'll highlight any and all trainers, items and wild Pokémon available to catch as well.
For more general guides and other walkthrough pages like this meanwhile, head back to our main Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon walkthrough and guide hub.
Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Heahea City
Heahea City is only half-open for business when you get there - you'll find that heading east towards Diglett Tunnel and beyond will lead you to a trainer riding their Stoutland around looking for hidden items - somewhat inconsiderate of them!
After landing on the beach and having your introductions with Olivia, the Island Kahuna, and Mallow, one of the Trial Captains, you're told to head to Route 4 and Paniola Town beyond it.
Before doing so though, explore the parts of town that you can still access. Lillie tells you she's heading to the nearby hotel to wait for someone, and heading there is worth your time. You'll find several Totem Stickers and loads of items in all the rooms.
You'll also meet a strange pair of trainers, Dexio and Sina, as you head that way. They'll challenge you to a quick battle, and otherwise aside from perhaps the Surfing centre there's not much else to do. Rest up, stock up, and head to Route 4!

What's more, we have pages on the Rockruff event for getting Dusk Form Lycanroc and, last but not least, a full Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon QR codes list for adding all Pokémon to your Pokédex.
Pokénon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Route 4 and Pikachu Valley
Route 4 is one of the more changed routes in the Ultra versions. In essence it's the same - winding paths dotted with long grass through the woods to Paniola Town - but there's now a branching path to the west that takes you into Pikachu Valley.
There's no particular order you need to do these in, by which we mean you can either clear out Route 4 entirely and then head to Pikachu Valley, or check out the Pikas first.
Next up: Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon - Paniola Town, Paniola Ranch and Pokémon Nursery
In fact, there's little of interest in either, really. In Pikachu Valley you'll be able to collect the special event Pikachu that was distributed at advanced screenings of the Pokémon: I Choose You! movie, along with some other Pika-paraphernalia, but otherwise that's basically it. Chat with the Pikachu if you wish, then move on!
