New expansion, Pride clothing, and gender-neutral toilets are coming to The Sims 4

The Sims 4 Island Living expansion pack is coming to PC and Mac on 21st June, 2019, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 16th July, 2019.
Yet another announcement from yesterday's EA Play event, Electronic Arts confirmed the expansion lets players "trade in the hustle and bustle of city life in exchange for a laid-back lifestyle on the tropical island of Sulani".
Sims will be able to "relax on the beach, enjoy water activities on a glistening ocean, become a conservationist to help keep the beaches in pristine condition and experience all of the cultural traditions this island has to offer".
Alongside the reveal of The Sims 4 Island Living, EA also announced The Sims is "proud to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community" with a new partnership with the It Gets Better Project, a non-profit organisation and global movement providing hope and encouragement to LGBTQ+ youth.
From 18th June - the console release follows in July - players will be able to access It Gets Better and pride in-game clothing in The Sims 4 on PC, The Sims FreePlay and The Sims Mobile, as well as a variety of pride items, including a gender-neutral bathroom door in The Sims 4.
The Sims 4 Moschino Stuff Pack - which features a collection from Moschino as well as a new part-time job as a fashion photographer - is out later this month, while The Sims 4 Realm of Magic Game Pack's release date has yet to be finalised.
