Relive Luke's Star Wars trench run with Oculus Rift

Take an old idea and mix it with VR, with Oculus Rift, and it becomes new and exciting again. That's what exciting tech does.
Case in point: flight sims - Star Wars flight sims. You don't need omni-directional treadmills to replicate sitting in a cockpit, but when you're actually sitting in that cockpit, looking out of the windows at the surface of the Death Star and replicating the trench run Luke Skywalker pulls off at the end of A New Hope - well, that's gold.
Developer Boone Calhoun knew all this, of course, which is why he made the Trench Run demo for Oculus Rift (via Rock, Paper, Shotgun).
