Report: Hulu heading to Xbox 360
Integration to be announced at E3?
Microsoft is set to announce Xbox 360 support for US streaming video service Hulu at E3, according to a report.
Gear Live reckons that a "very reliable source" told them Hulu will be integrated into the 360 dashboard in a similar fashion to Netflix.
Apparently the service would be subscription-based, although there's no word on what folks would have to pay.
Hulu is a US-only streaming video site for TV shows and movies from various networks, and given that the service blocks access from non-US addresses, it seems unlikely we'll see it here whether the rumour's true or not.
Microsoft already offers regional streaming TV services, including Sky Player in the UK and Canal+ in France, and we may see more of those in future.
We've contacted Microsoft for comment.
